Job Description

As a Night Cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining the hotel's cleanliness and overall guest experience during the night shift. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Performing thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
  • Changing bed linens, replacing towels, and ensuring all amenities are stocked and in good condition.
  • Cleaning and maintaining public restrooms, ensuring they are well-stocked and hygienic.
  • Restocking cleaning supplies and notifying management of any inventory needs.
  • Reporting maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to management promptly.
  • Assisting with laundry duties, including washing, folding, and organizing linens.
  • Supporting the housekeeping team with special projects or deep cleaning tasks as directed.
  • Maintaining a professional and courteous demeanour while interacting with guests and team members.
  • Following all hotel policies and procedures, including those related to security and safety.

You will be well-presented with a positive attitude and a passion for maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our guests.


Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience (preferred but not essential).
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good time management skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
