The hotel features 239 well-appointed rooms, along with a great restaurant, a cafe, bar, heated rooftop swimming pool, spa, sauna and gym. Business guests are well catered for at Mercure Perth with 6 modern meeting rooms available, accommodating up to 350 delegates.
As a Night Cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining the hotel's cleanliness and overall guest experience during the night shift. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Performing thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
- Changing bed linens, replacing towels, and ensuring all amenities are stocked and in good condition.
- Cleaning and maintaining public restrooms, ensuring they are well-stocked and hygienic.
- Restocking cleaning supplies and notifying management of any inventory needs.
- Reporting maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Assisting with laundry duties, including washing, folding, and organizing linens.
- Supporting the housekeeping team with special projects or deep cleaning tasks as directed.
- Maintaining a professional and courteous demeanour while interacting with guests and team members.
- Following all hotel policies and procedures, including those related to security and safety.
You will be well-presented with a positive attitude and a passion for maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our guests.
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience (preferred but not essential).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good time management skills with the ability to multi-task.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
