We’re seeking a Kitchen Attendant to become part of our team at Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort and Convention Centre! Our resort boasts over 370 luxurious rooms, a refreshing pool, a vibrant lagoon for water activities, and a range of delicious dining options, all aimed at delivering unforgettable experiences for our guests. As a valued member of the renowned Accor Group, you’ll play a key role in enhancing our dining experiences and crafting memorable moments for our visitors.


Job Description

Join our dynamic culinary team as a Steward and play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen areas. You will collaborate closely with the Kitchen Team to: 

  • Ensure all food and beverage spaces are tidy.
  • Adhere to Health and Hygiene regulations and employ proper food handling techniques.
  • Prepare and ensure the availability of mise en place as needed.
  • Support other areas of the kitchen and collaborate with the chef on duty.

Qualifications

  • Service oriented with an eye for detail
  • Time management skills with the ability to multitask  
  • Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with all levels of team members 
  • Flexible and able to embrace and respond effectively to change 
  • Experience working in a commercial kitchen, preferred
  • Ability to work a rotating roster, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
