Job Description

As a Kitchen Attendant at the Manly Pacific you are to support the day-to-day operation of the kitchen through food preparation and dishwashing. You are a quick-thinking multitasker, who can perform a wide range of tasks in a fast-paced kitchen environment. It is essential that you are a reliable person and a team player who is eager to work hard & play harder!  


    Qualifications

    What we are looking for? 

    • Actions cleaning duties within the kitchen, food preparation areas and scullery.
    • General pantry duties and maintain cleanliness of pantry, fridges and freezers.
    • Assist in the preparation of food as directed by the Executive Chef or supervisory team.
    • Maintain cleanliness and rotation of stock in pantry, fridge and freezers.
    • Assist with the receiving and storing of stock.
    • Ensure all kitchens are kept clean and tidy according to current Health & Hygiene regulations.

    What we are looking for:

    1. Having a full working right in Australia
    2. Service oriented with an eye for detail.
    3. Multicultural awareness and able to work with people from diverse cultures.
    4. Ability to work independently and demonstrated initiative in a dynamic environment.
    5. Self-motivated and energetic.
    6. Strong focus and passion for hotel operations
    7. Confident and articulate communication, negotiation, relationship and networking skills
    8. Time management skills with the ability to multitask
