Ibis Budget Auckland Central, located just off Queen Street in the heart of Auckland's CBD, is a compact yet vibrant hotel, positioned close to Auckland's main hub for business, shopping, and dining. The hotel's prime location makes it popular with both short-term corporate travelers and leisure guests, along with residents opting for extended stays. With 144 comfortable rooms, stretched across 18 floors, featuring balconies and kitchenette facilities we are currently recruiting for a passionate and motivated individual to join our Housekeeping Team.
What you will be doing.
- Supervise and support the housekeeping team to ensure rooms, public areas, storage areas, back of house, and corridors are cleaned to a high standard.
- Responding to guest requests efficiently and politely
- Assisting with regular equipment stocktaking
- Train and motivate housekeeping staff to ensure consistent performance.
Whilst talent and attitude are our primary requirements, you also have:
- Previous supervisory experience in a hotel or housekeeping environment
- Fluent in English
- Exceptional grooming and articulate in communication

- Flexibility to work a variety of hours which includes weekends across a 7 day/week roster
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at any given time
- You must be physically fit and energetic
- Eligibility to work in New Zealand
