We welcome a diverse range of guests every day with a mix of both corporate & leisure as well as hosting and taking part in an array of events, including the incredible (and colourful) Mardi Gras. 


Job Description

  • Supervise and support the Front Office team to deliver outstanding customer service
  • Ensure smooth daily operations at the Front Desk including processes such as; check ins, check outs, & guest requests
  • Resolve guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally
  • Lead by example, with high energy, a ‘can-do’ attitude and true passion for guest experience.
  • Champion upselling, making sure Department targets are met.
  • Handle and manage transactions, billing, and guest accounts.
  • Build relationships and rapport with other Departments to assist in the smooth running of the Hotel operation.
  • Seek out opportunities to create special moments and experiences for our guests.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a Front Office leadership role within a Hotel or Resort
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a strong focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Proficiency in Opera
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Full working rights in Australia
