Job Description

This position at the Pyramid Restaurant & Lobby Bar is for a passionate food service individual who will provide an exceptional experience to our guests and assist in all aspects of breakfast and lunch service.

  • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
  • Breakfast shifts may include lunch service
  • Assist servers with food delivery, clearing tables, and setting up tables
  • Assisting guests with queries
  • Attend to buffet items
  • Replenish items and guest amenities
  • Restock and maintain inventory levels of all products
  • Ensure overall cleanliness of the restaurant at all times
  • Early morning shifts include weekdays, weekends, and holidays
  • Have full knowledge of beverage lists, promotions, menu items, contents, and preparation methods
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages
  • May have to assist In-Room Dining team

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent vocational training certificate
  • Previous experience in food service industry an asset
  • Previous experience as busser/server’s assistant in luxury setting an asset
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills in English
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
  • Highly responsible & reliable
  • Food handler & TABC certifications required
  • Certification in CPR an asset
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment, and without supervision
  • Ability to multi task and work cohesively as part of a team
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
