Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily Food & Beverage operations, including restaurant, bar, and room service as well as conference and events.
  • Lead and motivate the team to deliver outstanding customer service as well as giving regular feedback both formal and informal
  • Assist in staff scheduling and ensure appropriate coverage during peak times.
  • Ensure the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and food quality are maintained and Food Control plans are adhered to.
  • Assist in training and developing of team members on service standards, menu knowledge, and drinks knowledge and customer interaction.
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues to ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Support the Food & Beverage Manager in inventory management, staff scheduling, and cost control and stock ordering
  • Maintain a strong presence on the floor, engaging with guests and ensuring their satisfaction and gathering their feedback
  • Handling cash and payments accurately and completing cash up at end of shift
  • Monitor sales and revenue, implementing strategies to increase profitability.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within the Food & Beverage industry min 6 months in a Restaurant environment as well as conference & events
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional service and guest experiences.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and industry standards.
  • As the role covers the service and supply of alcohol we are seeking an individual with a current LCQ and Managers licence
  • Barista experience as well as bar and cocktail making experience
  • 5* dining service experience dealing with Al carte service

Role is Full time 32 hours per week, $29.86 per hour
