Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our dynamic Food and Beverage team. We are seeking an individual who possess a strong knowledge and understanding of Food and Beverage operations. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing day to day operations within the Food and Beverage department, assisting with breakfast, lunch, dinner services as well as conference and events and ensuring a high level of customer service and satisfaction.


Qualifications

As well as the above, the ideal candidate will

  • Possess strong leadership skills and great communication skills
  • Ensure efficient, friendly and professional food and beverage service is provided to all guests
  • Be willing to train new team members and help develop others
  • Assist the Restaurant and Bar Manager in a variety of tasks, including ordering and stock control, roster writing
  • Greet and welcome guests, assist with booking and menu enquiries
  • Supervise the Food and Beverage team in all aspects and ensure they are competent in the menu, dietary and allergen knowledge, as well as beverage and wine lists
  • Maintain a clean and neat presentation of the Restaurant and Bar area
  • Work closely with the kitchen team, reservations and front office to ensure smooth running of the restaurant
  • Deal with customer complaints in a calm and respectful manner
  • Provide and maintain a valid Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate, adhering to amendments and updates
  • Work cost effectively to assist in ensuring budgets are met

Additional Information

The successful candidate would ideally be able to start no later than 6th November 2024 and must be willing to commit for at least six months. 

-Single accommodation provided, rent and utilities are included as a discretionary benefit of this role. 

-This is a full time role and will require flexibility to work days, nights and weekends.
