F&B MANAGER | Opening of Swissôtel Mariánské Lázně
Start date : 2nd May 2025
We are looking for an experienced professional to lead the gastronomy in the new premium Swissôtel Mariánské Lázně!
In September we are opening a premium hotel with 125 rooms and suites, which will include the 105 Dining Lounge, The Bohemian Bar, our SwissCafé and our rooftop Pod Oblaky Lifestyle Lounge. Additionally, the hotel will have three meeting rooms and a board meeting room. Another highlight of the hotel will be the Purovel Spa & Sport, which will combine Swiss precision with the spa tradition of Mariánské Lázně.
This unique opportunity combines the international reputation of the Swissôtel with the history of the spa town. We are looking for a leader who will set the gastronomic concept, lead the team and ensure an unforgettable experience for our guests.
WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?
🔹 Strategic Management and Development of F&B Operations
- Planning, organization, and supervision of all hotel F&B venues – restaurant, café, lobby bar and meeting area
- Ensuring the efficient operation of individual F&B departments and coordinating activities between them
🔹 Service Quality and Innovation
- Continuous improvement of services, monitoring culinary trends, and implementing innovations; creativity will be the key to success
- Ensuring highest guest experience
- Ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety regulations
🔹 Financial and Business Management
- Responsibility for budgets, forecast, pricing strategies, procurement, and profitability of each F&B outlet
- Regular evaluation of financial performance and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Collaboration with the sales and marketing teams to develop promotional campaigns and revenue-boosting strategies
🔹 Team Leadership and Employee Development
- Building and motivating a team of hospitality professionals
- Setting goals and supporting employee development through training and mentoring
- Recruiting and onboarding new team members, overseeing their adaptation and performance
- Fostering a positive corporate culture and teamwork
🔹 Collaboration with the Kitchen and Menu Development
- Close cooperation with the Executive Chef on seasonal menu planning and innovations
- Quality control of dishes, portion sizes, and overall presentation
- Setting beverage menu standards, wine selection, and creating beverage pairings
🔹 Operational Management and Process Oversight
- Monitoring the efficient use of resources and capacities within hotel restaurants and bars
- Ensuring smooth execution of all F&B services – from breakfast to events
- Continuously improving the quality of service delivery
🔹 Building the Hotel’s Culinary Brand
- Collaborating with the marketing team to promote the hotel's restaurants and bars
- Organizing special events, themed evenings, tastings, and other experiential F&B activities for guests
- Actively contributing to the hotel's culinary reputation in both local and international markets
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? The ideal candidate:
Do you have a degree in gastronomy or relevant experience?
Do you speak Czech, German and English (another language is an advantage)?
Do you have at least 4 years of experience in a similar position in a premium/luxury hotel?
Are you a strong leader with natural authority and the ability to motivate a team?
Do you have excellent organisational and administrative skills?
Are you creative, innovative and at the same time you care about discipline and efficiency?
