Welcome to an exciting landmark hotel in the very center of the fairytale city of Prague in Czech Republic. Located just minutes from top tourist sights and designer shops as well as bustling cafes and restaurants, overlooking the Prague castle and the spires of the Golden City.
The hotel is currently undergoing a complete renovation to open its doors during Spring 2025 as the most exclusive five star property in town. The hotel will feature 297 luxurious rooms and suites, an extensive Fairmont Spa with indoor and outdoor pool, 6 restaurants and bars as well as a Grand Ballroom for 400 guests and a number of serviced residences attached to the hotel.
The hotel is a landmark property with a rich history, an architectural icon filled with authentic artpieces, a flagship property for Fairmont and the first opening in Central Europe for the brand.
Executive Housekeeper
Creating an engaging work environment for colleagues of Fairmont Golden Prague Hotel is as important as turning moments into memories for our guests. The Executive Housekeeper is an integral role within our hotel, reporting to the Director of Rooms and co-operating closely with the EXCOM. The standards and values you model as the Director of Housekeeping will inspire your team and ensure our guests have a memorable experience.
- Consistently offering professional, engaging and friendly service.
- Ensuring the highest degree of cleanliness and maintenance in accordance with Fairmont Hotels & Resorts standards, policies and procedures.
- Creating an environment wherein continuous improvements are made in the areas of GOP, EES, VOG, and LQA.
- Effectively and accurately managing payroll and departmental expenses within budgeted and forecasted guidelines.
- Developing and executing, in conjunction with the Executive Committee, any capital projects related to guest rooms and public areas.
- Overseeing all recruitment processes, and developing departmental succession plans.
- Maintaining an environment that promotes the Health, Wellness and Safety of both Colleagues and Guests.
- Maintaining an active Preventative Maintenance program in conjunction with Engineering.
- Liaising with all Hotel departments as required.
We are looking for:
- Previous Senior Housekeeping Leadership experience, 2-3 years within a similar establishment is required.
- Proven leadership, developer, and delegation skills with an ability to lead large team to achieve the departmental goals.
- Strong organizational and administration skills.
- Good computer skills.
- Excellent problem solver and decision maker.
- Work permit within EU countries.
