Established in 1991, Swissôtel The Bosphorus, Istanbul is a five-star luxury hotel nestled in the historic gardens of Dolmabahçe Palace in Beşiktaş. Covering 65 acres, the hotel has been awarded the Safe Hotels Executive Certification from 2016 to 2024.

With 566 rooms and suites, 29 event venues, and three grand ballrooms, Swissôtel The Bosphorus provides an exceptional setting for business meetings and social events, accommodating anywhere from 5 to 1,200 guests.

Job Description

Carries out all maintenance tasks requested by the Electrical Workshop.
Completes all manufacturing requests from the Electrical Workshop within the given timeframe.
When requested, inspects outsourced tasks related to the workshop to ensure they meet hotel standards.
Supports the department manager in project planning.
Provides training to new team members.
Performs maintenance and on-call duties within the Permanent Workshop.
Ensures that all maintenance, manufacturing, and repairs are carried out in accordance with hotel standards.
Is responsible for the proper use and upkeep of workshop assets, including those personally assigned.
Maintains the order, organization, and cleanliness of the workshop.
Each employee is required to use the personal protective equipment assigned to them as per their job description.
Must promptly report any technical or hazardous issues related to the tools and machines they use to the employer in writing.
Conducts maintenance, repairs, and manufacturing in compliance with department procedures and safety regulations.
Monitors and adheres to legal regulations related to their responsibilities.


Qualifications

  • Hold a degree in Electrical, Electrical-Electronics, or a related technical field (Vocational High School or Vocational College).
  • Have at least 3 years of experience in electrical maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
  • Possess knowledge of low and medium voltage systems.
  • Have experience with electrical panels, generators, UPS systems, and power compensation systems.
  • Be capable of installing and maintaining lighting, sockets, and distribution systems.
  • Be able to read and implement electrical wiring diagrams and schematics.
  • Have basic knowledge of automation systems (preferred).
  • Use technical equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.
  • Have strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.
  • Be a team player with strong communication skills.
  • Be well-versed in occupational health and safety regulations and adhere to them rigorously.
  • Be able to work in a shift-based schedule.
  • Hold certifications such as Working at Heights Training, Vocational Qualification Certificate, and Basic Occupational Health and Safety Training (preferred).
