Nestled at the base of Blackcomb Mountain, just two hours north of Downtown Vancouver, Fairmont Chateau Whistler defines mountain luxury. Bell Attendant - Guest Services Attendant
First impressions are everything! Your engaging smile and personality are the essence of a great Bellperson with Fairmont Hotels & Resorts. As you personally greet our Guests and assist them throughout the day, you will be empowered to deliver on our mission of "Turning moments into memories for our guests".
Pay Rate:
$17.40 per hour
We recognize tenure through our compensation - hourly rates increase after 6 months and then yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $20.55 per hour.
Job Duties Include:
- Meet and greet guests, helping them with their luggage upon arrival and departure
- Provide parking options and safely park any valet vehicles
- Share knowledge of all hotel related information including; hours of operation, promotions, menu selection, meeting facilities, guest room and rate structuring and current availability
- Share knowledge of all guest related activities and events within the hotel and through outside agencies, such as activities, theatre, transportation, recreation and current events
- Class 5 BC Driver's License with a clean abstract is required
- Class 4 BC Driver's License is an asset, but not required
- Ability to drive manual is required
- Previous experience in a Guest Service capacity is an asset
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Knowledge of Whistler area is an asset.
