Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Sales Manager - Leisure to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our market presence within the leisure industry.

 

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets in the leisure market
  • Lead, motivate, and mentor a high-performing sales team to meet individual and collective goals
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners in the market
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management
  • Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends to inform sales strategies
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and local laws in target markets
  • Manage the sales budget and optimise resource allocation for maximum ROI
  • Develop and execute innovative marketing campaigns to promote leisure products and services
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with key leisure industry partners and suppliers
  • Implement and manage customer relationship management (CRM) systems to improve sales efficiency
  • Identify and develop new leisure market segments to diversify the company's portfolio
  • Provide regular training and development opportunities for the sales team to enhance their skills and knowledge of the leisure industry

 


Qualifications

  • Min. 2 years in a similar role in the luxury hospitality industry
  • Min. 2 years' experience actively managing Tour Operator relationships within their respective markets
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in the leisure industry
  • Strong understanding of leisure market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitive landscape
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team
  • Advanced negotiation and contract management skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners at all levels
  • Willingness to travel frequently to meet clients and attend industry events
