Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Assistant Outlets Manager to join our prestigious food and beverage team in Sofitel Brisbane Central. As an Assistant Outlets Manager, you will lead a diverse team of hospitality professionals to create unforgettable experiences for our guests in our award-winning restaurant, Bistro Suzette, our elegant lobby bar, Cuvee and our In-Room Dining & Mini Bar services.

  • Assist in overseeing daily operations of multiple food and beverage outlets
  • Collaborate with the Outlets Manager to develop and implement strategies for improving service quality and efficiency
  • Supervise and support staff, ensuring adherence to service standards and company policies
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to strategise on new product and service offerings
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally and efficiently
  • Conduct regular staff training sessions to enhance skills and product knowledge
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
  • Assist in organising and executing special events and promotions
  • Maintain excellent relationships with vendors and suppliers.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similary role within a fast-paced, high-end restaurant environment
  • Excellent knowledge of food and beverage operations, including wine and beverage service
  • Proven experience with point of sale systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong understanding of inventory management and cost control principles
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • Exceptional communication and organisational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to remain calm and courteous while focusing on guest needs
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the food service industry
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable dining experiences.
