As our new Kitchen Hand, you will assist in the execution of memorable Food & Beverage experiences for our guests.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is passionate about cookery and is looking for a rewarding and positive kitchen environment where you can work closely with world-class culinary experts and develop your own cookery and food prep skills.

Ongoing 1pm-9pm and 5pm-1am rosters available

Our ideal candidate will be available for an ongoing 4-5 day week roster

What you will be doing:

Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitizing of all surfaces                                                                       Operating high volume, industrial dishwashing equipment                                                                              Keeping floors and work areas clear of hazards and obstruction
Responsible of the operation of kitchen cleaning equipment.                                                                            Kitchen food preparation tasks and assisting Lounge Chef brigade 

Your experience and skills include:

Availability to work a 4-5 day ongoing weekly roster                                                   

Are willing to undergo a federal police check in order to apply for an airside aviation identification card                                                                                                                                                

Your team and working environment:

Qantas Lounges by Accor Brisbane is a diverse and vibrant team working together to achieve memorable experiences for Qantas loyalty members utilizing lounges in Brisbane Domestic and International airport terminals. 

To be eligible for this role you must have working rights to work in Australia, and you must be willing to undergo a federal police clearance in order to work in an airport environment
