Company Description

Following a multi-million renovation yet maintaining the identity of this treasured historical landmark hotel and its brutalist architecture style, the luxury 5-star Fairmont Golden Prague Hotel will reopen in December 2024.
 
Located at the gate of Parizska Boulevard, in the UNESCO Old Town and next to the historical Jewish Quarter, 297 rooms and suites that offer prime views of the Vitava river and the ancient city, 6 restaurants and bars, meeting facilities for up to 500 guests, a 1400m2 spa inclusive of a selection of saunas and steam rooms, an indoor and outdoor pool, a group exercise studio and a gym await our guests, all within walking distance of designer boutiques and restaurants, as well as the most notable architectural and cultural sights.

Job Description

The Spa Manager is responsible for the establishment and execution of clear short- and
long-term goals. This includes the daily leadership of the spa, fitness, recreation team,
business and strategic directions of the business, including marketing and social activities to promote the spa and wellness facilities. The quality and guest experience, as well as team motivation, is a key component of everyday operations. Proactive management of financial P/L for maximum business opportunities as well as ensuring that optimal internal auditing processes are in place.

  • Adhere to the Spa Policy & Standard Operating Procedures manual.
  • Act as an Ambassador for the spa and hotel brand for colleagues establishing relationships with internal and external stakeholders representing the values of the brand and Accor. This includes maintaining a professional appearance at all times.
  • Manage the operations and efficiency of the spa facilities.
  • Effective colleague communication and welfare for new and existing staff as well as other departments at the property and corporate teams.
  • Establish proactive strategic initiatives for the spa to help market the overall
  • offers/products.
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of competitors, including locations, product offerings, pricing, promotions, and sales techniques.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a management or supervisory position in a spa or related field.
  • Previous luury hotel experience with background in financial budgeting and forecasting.
  • Czech language is big advantage, English on communicative level is a must.
  • Work permit within EU countries.
