About Mövenpick Hotel Brussels Airport
Mövenpick Hotel Brussels Airport is a modern and elegant hotel, ideally located near Brussels Airport. Our hotel is renowned for its hospitality, comfort and excellent service, making us a popular choice for both business and leisure travelers. As part of the Accor Group, we are committed to upholding the highest standards of customer satisfaction. We are looking for a dedicated Shift Leader Reception to play a key role in our reception team, ensuring our guests have an unforgettable experience.

Job Description
As Shift Leader Reception, you will be the central figure at the reception desk. You will coordinate daily operations, support the team, and ensure every guest is warmly welcomed and assisted with the highest level of service. Prior experience with Accor standards is an asset, allowing you to immediately contribute to the premium service quality that Mövenpick and Accor are known for.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the reception team and coordinate daily activities.
  • Greet guests, handle check-ins and check-outs, and respond to guest inquiries and requests.
  • Ensure adherence to Accor guidelines and procedures.
  • Lead the team in delivering excellent hospitality, following Accor’s service and quality standards.
  • Handle guest complaints and issues in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Train and develop new and current team members.
  • Process payments and ensure accurate administrative records.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Assist management in operational decision-making and improvements.

Qualifications

Your Profile:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role within the hotel industry, preferably with Accor Group experience.
  • Familiarity with hotel reservation systems (experience with Accor systems such as Opera is a plus).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • A high sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
  • Flexible availability, willing to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Proficiency in Dutch, English, and French, both spoken and written.
  • A friendly, guest-oriented attitude, with the ability to stay calm under pressure and work as part of a team.
