  • Hourly pay rate of $19.61 to $22.41

What you will be doing:

  • Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way
  • Order and settle bills to various payment media
  • Follow restaurant policies, procedures and service standards
  • Have full knowledge of beverage lists and promotions
  • Have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

  • Minimum two years recent (in the last five years) experience as a server in an “a la carte” dining setting in an upscale, high volume restaurant OR combination of two (2) years as a Junior Server, expeditor or equivalent AND one (1) year recent (in the last five years) experience as a 
  • server in an “a la carte” dining setting in an upscale, high volume restaurant
  • Serving It Right and Food Safe certificates
  • Basic knowledge of a POS system
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to thrive in a busy environment
  • A team player with proven success in relationship building
  • A commitment to provide excellent service and exceeding expectations
  • Completely fluent English language skills; both written and verbal
  • Strong interpersonal skills and positive attitude
  • Professional and impeccable grooming and presentation

Additional Information

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):

  • Constant standing and walking
  • Frequent bending and kneeling
  • Constant carrying and lifting up to 20lbs
  • Frequent ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
