Sofitel Noosa Pacific Resort is currently seeking a vibrant personality to join our Reservations team on a fixed-term basis for 12 months (parental leave cover). You will assist in all rooms inquiries, reservations, confirmations, cancellations and operating yield management to ensure highest rates and occupancy levels are achieved. You will be fully conversant with all the Hotel’s facilities and services, including; hotel packages and specials and build rapport with both new and regular guests by maximising the use of guest history.
Previous experience in customer service is essential as well as total dedication to the guest’s journey and attention to detail. We are looking for someone with a "can-do" attitude who is friendly and outgoing.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Accurately and efficiently process guest reservations,
- Provide accurate information on hotel, specials and promotions,
- Update and maintain accurate guest details,
- Assist with reservation inquiries,
- Providing a high level of customer service,
- Providing a personalised service and experience for our guests,
- Maintain good communication and work relationships in all hotel areas.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Front Office or Reservations role
- Strong interpersonal and phone mannerism
- A passion for sales and promotion
- Ability to multi-task whilst ensuring exceptional attention to detail
- High level of creativity with local knowledge
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends, evenings and public holidays
