Novotel & Ibis Auckland Ellerslie is a dual branded hotel home to Acacia Bar & Restaurant and multiple conference spaces. Our hotel has a combined 247 contemporary guest rooms with our staff creating memorable moments for our guests.


Job Description

This is a dual role where two shifts will be as Relief Night Manager while the other two shifts will be as Night Auditor, supporting the Night Manager.

Both roles main objective is to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Hotel's overnight operation, maintaining guest satisfaction and the safety and security of the property.

Tasks Include: 

  • Undertake the daily reconciliation of the Hotel’s trading, completing audits, reconciling accounts to ensure accuracy 
  • Generate reports for management, offering valuable insights in to daily hotel operations 
  • Carrying out reception duties, leading by example and providing four star service
  • Ensuring effective communication and hand-over regarding policies, rates and general hotel information


  • Experience working in a hotel environment preferred
  • Projects professional image at all times through personal presentation / interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of hotel management systems or auditing in previous roles
  • Proven ability to contribute to the guest experience
