Job Description

If you love meeting and working with other people, have a big heart and good energy, then this offer is for you! We are looking for a versatile receptionist to join our Ibis Barcelona Santa Coloma hotel as soon as possible. If you want to be part of a company where we take care of our collaborators, as well as our clients, this is your place : )

Summary of the tasks:

· Attend and inform our clients about the characteristics of the hotel and its different services, in person, online and by telephone.

· Welcome guests and take care of them from their arrival to their departure.

· Contribute to the permanent satisfaction of guests by providing high-quality services during their stay.

· Adapt your shifts developing professionally both in reception and in restaurants (rotating shifts: mornings, afternoons and nights)

· Make reservations for our customers, by phone or in person.

· Perform guest’s check-out.

· Attend the hotel bar, and prepare simple snacks for our customers.

· Support the breakfast shift when necessary, making sure that they are not shortages in our buffet breakfast and that it’s well presented.


Qualifications

We highly value versatility. Here you can learn a multitude of tasks and functions. If you are a curious and creative person, you will not get bored with us :  )

A university education, preferably in Tourism, or a FP degree related to Tourism is desirable, although not essential.

Our clientele is largely international, so we require you to be fluent in English, both spoken and written. If you also speak other languages ​​such as French, Portuguese, or any other, will be great.

And finally, if you have previous experience in hotels, even better!
