Job Description

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Manager, Digital Media, Asia to join our team. This role will be based in Singapore and will be reporting directly to the Director of Digital Media, MEA APAC and is responsible for optimizing online media to generate quality traffic to Accor direct platforms that converts into Room Nights/Revenue to Accor hotels in Middle East, Africa, Turkey, Asia and Pacific (MEA APAC). 

It consists of implementing and analyzing Accor’s digital media strategy in all countries across MEA APAC to acquire and retain guests by targeting them across the customer journey and support in the delivery of the strategy and performance for the entire region. 

The Digital Media Manager is responsible for supporting the relationship with appointed media agencies and key publishers, plus identifying new paid media opportunities within region. The position also provides strategic guidance and support to the digital media teams in countries and is responsible for the performance of paid media campaigns and deliverables through defined KPIs.

Getting to know the role and your responsibilities: 

Executing and Optimizing MEA APAC Paid Media 

  • Briefing, analyzing and challenging agencies to deliver innovative and effective media plans across online display (including programmatic and paid social). 

  • Leading the alignment on media KPIs to ensure all paid media is measurable. 

  • Conducting research and audience analysis to identify target demographics and optimal media channels. 

  • Identifying and sharing best practice media strategies to improve media performance across MEA APAC 

  • Implementing strategies to acquire new customers and retain existing customers and loyalty members at the best cost. 

  • Analyse and report on campaign media performance to align with business KPIs on a monthly, quarterly, and annual cadence. 

  • Monitor & adapt the media campaign strategies based on the current situation of the region/market. 

Strengthening Media Partner Relationships on Behalf of Accor 

  • Is a Point of Contact (POC) to the agencies. 

  • Actively participates on partner calls to improve performance and identify new opportunities. 

  • Regularly tracks media trends and competitors in priority markets, to support the growth of Accor’s media network. 

  • Proactively initiates a test and learn methodology/calendar. 

  • Participates in negotiations for co-funded media pilots. 

  • Fosters strong relationships with agencies. 

  • Represents Accor MEA APAC in meetings. 

Collaborating with Global Media & HUB Ecommerce/Marketing Teams to Reach Business and Campaign Objectives and Priorities 

  • Responsible for the ongoing measurement of paid media using Accor specific dashboards and tools (Tableau, Sprinklr). 

  • Implements fast local adoption of Global Joint Business Plans and objectives, adjusting to meet local specificities (including Google, Meta, Microsoft). 

  • Communicates animation plans. 

  • Ensures alignment with the full-funnel strategy and objectives of the company. 

  • Supports the tracking and attribution of media activities to support ongoing investment (ie. Ekimetrics). 

  • Ensures a deep understanding of paid media and operational requirements, including tag / pixel implementation procedures. 

  • Supports the in-country digital media teams in their media optimisation & analysis, including channel and audience targeting recommendations. 

  • Develops deep analysis of digital media to optimize overall web direct business. 

Supporting Growth and Innovation 

  • Staying up to date with digital media trends, competition, and potential new channels, including updates to social media marketing, attribution, targeting, and programmatic media buying. 

  • Supporting the implementation of transversal projects of DCO, data-sharing and cookie less targeting, to generate incremental revenue. 

  • Identifying and adapting a streamlined campaign reporting template for MEA APAC. 

  • Project management: ability to prioritize and manage multiple demands in a challenging environment. 

  • Successfully complete training programs as required and identify new training/upskilling opportunities to align with the role. 

Managing Media Investments and Accounting Requirements 

  • Implementing and managing the budget and financial processing requirements to meet budget guidelines. 

  • Respecting and following internal accounting processes & objectives. 

  • Provide guidance on country and hotels media budgets. 

  • Identification of local business needs to support visibility.  

  • Consolidation and management of local budget sources & fees. 


Qualifications

What we need from you 

  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Campaign Management, or related field with minimum 7 years of experience in related role 

  • Proficiency in digital media tools including Campaign Manager, GA4, DV360, YouTube, and Meta Ads Manager. 

  • Experience in executing large budgets and financial reconciliation. 

  • Excellent communication skills – written and spoken English. 

  • Experience in managing external agencies.  

  • Experience in presenting insights and performance metrics to different audiences. 

  • Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with all levels of employees. 

  • Good Excel/Presentation and influencing skills. 

  • Flexibility in working hours, with evening calls required for agency & global calls across time zones. 

  • Multicultural awareness and able to work with people from diverse cultures. 

  • Ability to work independently and has good initiative under dynamic environment.
