Job Description

  • Oversee all aspects of the hotel's maintenance operations, ensuring the upkeep of the property to the highest standards
  • Manage a team of maintenance technicians and external contractors, assigning tasks and ensuring timely completion of maintenance and repair projects
  • Conduct regular inspections of the property, identifying maintenance needs, and addressing issues promptly to maintain a safe, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing environment for guests and staff
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities, minimize disruptions to guest experiences, and optimize operational efficiency

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury resort setting
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, equipment, and facilities maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
  • Proven leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team of maintenance technicians and contractors
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various departments and guests ensuring smooth and efficient maintenance operations
