Mövenpick Hotel has a dedicated floor of event spaces, plus canvases for social celebrations including Forage Kitchen + Bar, offering culinary dining experiences and set to a panoramic city backdrop. 

We are seeking a creative event professional to join our sales team as Conference Sales Executive covering a 12month Maternity Leave period. This pivotal role will report directly to the Director of Sales & Marketing & the General Manager, and collaborate closely with the Hotel Operations.


Job Description

  • Oversee the entire event management process from initial quoting to proactive sales initiatives, follow-ups, contracting, event coordination, and billing.
  • Collaborate closely with operations to ensure seamless execution of events.
  • Maintain exceptional service standards, consistently seeking opportunities to generate revenue.
  • Foster high levels of engagement with both guests and team members, ensuring a memorable experience for all.
  • Follow up with clients for repeat opportunities

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Conference & Events Coordinator or in a Junior Sales role.
  • Solid understanding of Conference & Events (C&E) operations.
  • Basic knowledge of the sales process.
  • Proactive and able to take initiative.
  • Excellent guest service & communication skills.
