Job Description

This position is responsible for the daily management of F&B Department service, ensuring that the highest standard of F&B service is provided to the Hotel’s guests.

The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager plans, organizes and direct the overall F&B service operation and administration.

  • Exceptional leadership skills with demonstrated results in developing and motivating teams
  • The ability to coordinate and manage the day-to-day F&B operations whilst leading and inspiring the team to enhance the guest experience 
  • Be a calming influence amid a highly pressured, fast-paced environment, with the ability to sustain and drive positive morale, creating a culture that people want to be a part of
  • Have a flexible approach to adapting to guest requests and have the necessary skills to actively resolve complaints and challenges presented by customers
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with a high level of organisation, accuracy and attention to detail

 


Qualifications

Knowledge and Experience

  • Diploma in Hospitality Management/Food & Beverage
  • Additional certification(s) in Food & Beverage will be an advantage
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity
  • Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
  • Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
