Job Description

 KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Talent and culture strategic plan: prepare, communicate, and implement the annual T&C departmental plan.
  • Talent acquisition:  Manage the recruitment, selection, and retention processes.
  • Reward and Recognition: Drive and continually review and improve T&C solutions such as reward and recognition, employee wellbeing, talent management, and leadership programs.
  • Compensation and benefits: Manage the salary review process.
  • Develop and propose plans relating to current and future manpower requirements of the hotel to ensure it is appropriately manned based on the projected business levels.
  • Liaise with employment agencies, educational institutions, government bodies, etc., to source employees and explore potential recruitment channels.
  • Identify, prioritize, and meet the short-and long-term training and development needs of the hotel.
  • Review recommendations for promotions and career development from department heads and ExCom members for the General Manager’s approval.
  • Direct employee events and social activities at the hotel.
  • Ensure effective dissemination of information to employees.
  • Serve as an internal consultant, guiding and resolving grievance and disciplinary matters.
  • Foster positive colleague relations by promoting open communication, trust, mutual respect, and a fun work environment.
  • Manage the annual T&C budget effectively.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with a specialization in human resources from a reputable university.
  • A minimum of 8 years of human research management experience preferred
  • Experience in the hospitality industry required
  • Experience in the UAE is necessary
  • Thorough understanding of the U.A.E labor law
