Lifeguard

• Supervise and ensure the safety of swimmers
• Rescue swimmers in danger of drowning and administer first aid
• Inspect facilities for cleanliness; complete general pool cleaning and maintenance duties at regular points throughout the shift
• Ensure swimmers follow safe swimming practices; enforce and adhere to pool rules and regulations
• Follow emergency action plan and procedures when required
• Enforce all rules in a professional manner

Check pool chemicals and temperature

Certified Lifeguard with a recognized qualification.
Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certification.
Previous experience as a lifeguard, preferably in a resort or hotel environment.
Strong swimming skills and physical fitness.
Excellent observational skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

• Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time by the Management.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
• Distribute lockers and towels to guests
• Conduct inventory of supplies, materials, and equipment and inform supervisor/manager of low supply items.

Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.
