You are a natural leader, setting a good example and exceeding the expectations of guests and colleagues. We don't need to tell you that ‘Feeling Welcome’ is the philosophy for both our guest and employee. Do you easily open doors with your flair and are you able to manage a great team? Then we are waiting for you, because you will be our new Front Office Manager!


This is what you will do:

At the front desk, you and your colleagues will be the face of ibis Antwerp Centre. From the moment you welcome our guests until the moment they leave again, your team is the first point of contact within the hotel and you make sure the guest has an unforgettable experience with us.

As the manager of a 10-member team, no day is the same. As Front Office manager, you are flexible and prefer to work in a dynamic environment. With your commercial attitude, you can ensure that you achieve the set targets, with the help of Revenue Management, among others.

You conduct evaluation interviews and keep your staff planning in order. A good manager makes a difference and creates a good ambiance within the team. You know better than anyone how to get and keep your team members on board, you listen to them and treat them with the respect they deserve.

In our Antwerp hotel, you don't just focus on reception. No, your challenges are broader: you also manage the bar and coordinate the collaboration between housekeeping and reception.

Who are we looking for?

A true pacesetter, you know how to connect with both our guest and our employee and inspire both with your passion for hospitality.  Furthermore, you are ad-hoc oriented, confident and recognise yourself in the following points:

You have a completed Bachelor's degree, preferably in Hotel Management or Tourism
You have at least 2 years of relevant management experience within ‘Rooms
You are IT savvy and have knowledge of Fols or other PMS systems
You are fluent in Dutch, French and English
And finally, you possess a healthy dose of humour!
