Company Description

The latest addition in the Accor portfolio, The Clarence Hotel Sydney, part of the Handwritten Collection, is opening soon with a buzz in its central Sydney CBD location near Wynyard, Pitt st Mall, Barangaroo and Darling Harbour. Clarence is in the funky part of town, where the buildings operate large business deals by day, and the nightlife is a plethora of hidden bars and laneways of entertainment. The Clarence Hotel Sydney shall open late November in stages that shall include 50 hotel rooms, gym, a restaurant and 2 bars.


Job Description

As our pre-opening Front Office Manager, you will be overseeing Hotel Reception areas which include the duties of Communications and Concierge. You'll drive team engagement, people management, guest feedback & problem resolution and uphold our Handwritten brand standards. You will live & breathe service excellence as you empower your diverse team to create memorable experiences for all.

As the Leader in Front Office, you will have a connection to all departments across the Hotel.

Qualifications

  • Guest obsessed and service minded.
  • Proven negotiation & conflict resolution skills.
  • Desire to coach and develop Front Office hotel professionals.
  • Drive & energy to take a team to the next level under your leadership.
  • 2 years of experience within a leadership role in Front Office or 3-5 years within a hotel.
  • Impeccable communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Hold a current RSA and First Aid Certificate, or be willing to obtain.
