We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join us in offering a new attitude for cosmopolitan business and leisure travellers visiting the Qantas International Lounges. Our roles are focused on exciting our guests with flair and enthusiasm whilst we demonstrate genuine passion for customer service.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to lounge patrons and maintaining a safe and pleasant environment. As a part time - doorman / porter, you will assist with greeting guests, managing access control, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring smooth operation of the lounge.


Job Description

  • To meet and greet all guests as they arrive and depart the First Class Lounges
  • Ensure guests are entering the correct lounges with understanding boarding passes. 
  • Repetitive heavy lifting of passenger luggage's 
  • Ensure guests are dressed to an appropriate standard in the lounges
  • Handing over to other departments VIPs checking and any additional relevant information or request to ensure smooth customer experience.
  • Explain airport and lounge facilities to guests and answer any questions, including applicable flight information.
  • Occasional assistance with Qantas Hosts/F&B Departments 
  • Ensure, apply, and respect grooming, performance and conduct standards at all times.
  • Regular checks of the foyer, cleaning of curbside (if required) and ensure the Premium Check in Suite is kept presentable at all times.
  • Assist with any additional dutuies required by management/Qantas
  • Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Meet & Greet customers at kerbside and assist with their luggage to the check in suite

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Impeccable grooming and professional appearance.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry heavy objects.
  • Able to obtain Federal Police clearance to work in the restricted areas associated with the airport.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

You will be engaged to work under the Hospitality Industry (General) Award [MA000009] 

Note: Successful applicants will be required to undergo a Federal Police check at their own cost (Will be reimbursed once approved) in order to gain ASIC certification
