Job Description

We are currently looking for a Food and Beverage Manager at Novotel London Greenwich, who is full of energy, has a great personality and takes pride in giving great customer service.

Your mission:

 

·  Menu Planning and Development: Responsible for creating and updating menus that align with the establishment's theme, customer preferences, and budgetary constraints. This involves selecting dishes, pricing, and ensuring variety.

·  Quality Control: Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and service is crucial. Oversees kitchen operations to ensure consistency and adherence to food safety regulations.

·  Inventory and Stock Management: Monitor and manage food and beverage inventory levels to minimise waste, optimise costs, and ensure sufficient supply.

·  Staff Recruitment and Training: Hiring, training, and managing F&B staff. This includes scheduling shifts and ensuring staff adhere to service standards.

·  Customer Service: Ensuring excellent customer experiences, and handling guest feedback and complaints promptly and professionally.

·  Financial Management: Budgeting and financial reporting are essential responsibilities. Analyse sales data, monitor expenses, and implement cost-control measures.

·  Event Planning and Coordination: For venues that host events or banquets, oversee arrangements, ensuring smooth execution from planning through to service.

·  Health and Safety Compliance: Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards is paramount. Enforce regulations and maintain cleanliness throughout the establishment.

·  Vendor Relations: Negotiating with suppliers, maintaining relationships, and sourcing quality ingredients at competitive prices.

·  Marketing and Promotion: Collaborating with marketing teams to create promotions, special events, and campaigns to attract and retain customers


Qualifications

· Previous experience in similar roles is preferable.

· Friendly, approachable with excellent customer service skills.

· Attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills

· Strong team player and positive attitude.

· Ability to work effectively under pressure.

· Essential to be flexible with working hours.

· Must already have the right to work in the UK.
