The hotel boasts 369 beautifully appointed guest rooms and suites offering contemporary living for the modern business and leisure traveller. Our facilities include the award-winning spa centre Spa and Sport, a restaurant and lobby bar, fully equipped fitness centre, outdoor swimming pool as well as eight state-of-the-art meeting rooms including a heritage-listed ballroom seating up to 400 people. 


Job Description

Swissôtel Sydney, part of Accor’s Premium brands, have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, driven and ambitious Associate Director of Sales with a focus on the Corporate market to complete our Sales & Marketing Team.  

Reporting to the Commercial Director, the Associate Director of Sales will drive the Corporate sales strategy of the hotel, maximise revenue opportunities and achieve a reputation as a market leader in the industry. 

Responsibilities and duties (but not limited to):

  • Develop, maintain and manage strong relationships with key clients to ensure market share growth across the Corporate market
  • Work closely with the Commercial Director to achieve corporate rooms revenue and meetings budgets
  • Utilise all resources to identify and assess new business opportunities
  • Set and deliver strategy in conjunction with the leadership team to ensure annual corporate room night/revenue objects are exceeded
  • Implementation of sales call plan to promote the growth of existing accounts
  • Conduct famils and appropriate treatment of VIP clients to establish relationships and maximise all sales opportunities 

Qualifications

Diploma or equivalent or higher education in Hospitality Management, or Business Administrative.

About You:

  • The ability to demonstrate and deliver luxury experiences through strong and authentic customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Previous experience in a similar role or luxury hotel environment will be viewed favourably
  • Self-motivated and committed approach to achieve business goals
  • Exceptional personal presentation
  • Occasional travel for interstate business trips
  • Willing to work onsite full time, 5 days/week
