Chief Engineer

Are you an experienced and visionary engineering leader looking to make your mark in the heart of Dubai's vibrant hospitality industry? We are seeking a Chief Engineer to join our prestigious hotel and lead our engineering team to new heights of excellence.

As the Chief Engineer, you will oversee all aspects of engineering operations within the hotel, ensuring adherence to the highest hospitality standards and compliance with local regulations. You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the physical integrity of our property, managing a team of skilled professionals, and implementing sustainable practices to optimize efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct and supervise the engineering team in day-to-day operations, including maintenance, repairs, and projects.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to uphold the hotel's facilities and equipment.
• Collaborate with department heads to ensure seamless operations and address engineering-related issues promptly.
• Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring cost-efficient practices without compromising quality.
• Uphold safety and environmental standards, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Source and oversee external contractors and suppliers as needed.
• Implement innovative solutions to enhance the guest experience and operational efficiency.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, particularly in luxury hotels.
• Strong technical knowledge across multiple disciplines (e.g., mechanical, electrical, plumbing).
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Familiarity with Dubai's regulatory environment and industry standards.
• Creative problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to maintenance and operations.
