Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant General Manager to oversee all aspects of our vibrant and dynamic establishment. As the Restaurant General Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of Monkey Bar, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving financial performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management: Oversee all operational aspects of Monkey Bar, including but not limited to staffing, inventory management, vendor relationships, and overall restaurant efficiency.

  • Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a diverse team of restaurant staff, including servers, bartenders, kitchen staff, and administrative personnel. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and professional growth.

  • Guest Experience: Ensure exceptional guest experiences by maintaining high standards of service, food quality, and cleanliness. Address guest feedback and strive to continuously improve service standards.

  • Financial Performance: Manage budgets, analyze financial reports, and implement cost-control measures to optimize profitability. Monitor and achieve revenue targets, control expenses, and manage inventory effectively.

  • Training and Development: Implement and oversee a comprehensive training program for all staff members to ensure consistency in service quality and adherence to company standards.

  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all local health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and licensing requirements. Maintain a safe and sanitary restaurant environment at all times.

  • Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional activities, events, and marketing strategies to drive traffic and increase sales.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant General Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations, including food and beverage, staffing, and financial management.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong business acumen and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of local health and safety regulations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
