Novotel & Ibis Melbourne Central is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Sales Manager to work hand-in-hand with our Director of Sales & Marketing, contributing to the success of our high-performing Commercial Team.

With experience in hospitality, tourism, or a related industry, you know how to identify, pursue, and secure business opportunities that deliver tangible results. Your organisational skills, time management, and attention to detail allow you to juggle priorities seamlessly while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Commercial Strategy & Leadership: Assist in guiding the Commercial Team with well-defined strategies and tactical plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Business Development: Identify and secure opportunities within the Corporate, Groups, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events) segment.
  • Account Management: Build, nurture, and strengthen long-term relationships with clients, transforming leads into sustainable business partnerships.
  • Negotiations: Lead rate and contract negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes for clients and the hotel.
  • Process & Implementation: Streamline sales processes to ensure seamless onboarding and execution of new business opportunities.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with key stakeholders to maximize resources, align strategies, and deliver on organizational goals.
