Job Description

Director of Revenue Management

We are seeking a visionary and analytical Director of Revenue Management to join our team at the five-star Fairmont Jakarta. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing revenue optimization strategies to maximize our Hotel's financial performance.

What you will be doing:

  • Lead the development and execution of revenue management strategies to optimize pricing and inventory across all channels.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and historical data to forecast demand and make informed pricing decisions.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to align revenue strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Oversee the management of distribution channels and partnerships to maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain a robust reporting system to track key performance indicators and provide actionable insights.
  • Implement and optimize revenue management systems and tools to enhance decision-making processes.
  • Present revenue performance reports and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in hotel revenue management to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Drive the hotel annual budgeting process and ensure adherence to financial targets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Hospitality Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in revenue management in a five-star hotel establishment or a related field, with a proven track record of success.
  • Demonstrated expertise in revenue optimization strategies and techniques
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Proficiency in hotel revenue management systems, Microsoft Office suite, and data visualization tools.
  • Excellent leadership abilities with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to make decisive, data-driven decisions.
  • In-depth knowledge of market dynamics and industry trends.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience in the hospitality or travel industry is a must.
