Job Description

As the Senior Revenue Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue optimization and maximizing overall hotel profitability through strategic pricing, inventory management, forecasting, and distribution channel optimization. This key leadership role will focus on enhancing RevPAR, ADR, and market share while ensuring the hotel remains competitive within Bali’s luxury hospitality market. You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Reservations, and Finance to ensure strong commercial alignment and data driven decision making.

  • Revenue Strategy & Optimization:
    Develop and implement comprehensive revenue management strategies to maximize room revenue and total hotel profitability. Drive pricing strategies based on demand patterns, seasonality, and market trends.
  • Forecasting & Budgeting:
    Prepare accurate daily, weekly, and monthly forecasts. Actively participate in the annual budgeting process and provide variance analysis with strategic recommendations to senior management.
  • Distribution Channel Management:
    Oversee and optimize all distribution channels (OTA, direct, GDS, corporate, wholesale) to ensure a balanced channel mix and maximum profitability.
  • Market Analysis & Competitive Benchmarking:
    Analyze market trends, competitor performance, and industry dynamics using tools such as STR reports and other market intelligence platforms. Identify revenue opportunities and mitigate potential risks.
  • Commercial Collaboration:
    Work closely with the Director of Commercial to align pricing strategies with promotional and sales initiatives. Provide revenue guidance to support corporate and MICE contract negotiations.
  • Systems & Data Management:
    Manage revenue management systems and ensure data integrity across PMS, CRS, and RMS platforms. Leverage technology to improve forecasting accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Reporting & Performance Monitoring:
    Deliver regular revenue performance reports to the General Manager and regional leadership. Monitor key KPIs including RevPAR, ADR, Occupancy, GOP, and Market Penetration Index (MPI).
  • Team Leadership & Development:
    Lead and develop the revenue team to achieve high performance standards. Foster a strong data driven and analytical culture within the department.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Strong understanding of Bali’s hospitality market dynamics, including leisure, MICE, corporate, and wholesale segments.
  • Proven expertise in forecasting, pricing strategy, yield management, and distribution optimization.
  • Proficiency in PMS, RMS, STR reporting tools, OTA extranets, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with hands on execution capability.
  • Strong leadership and cross department collaboration skills
