Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and service oriented Reservation Agent to join our team at Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort. In this role, you will be responsible for handling room reservations, providing accurate information to guests, and maximizing room revenue through professional sales and customer service skills.

  • Handle all room reservations via phone, email, online platforms, and other booking channels
  • Provide accurate information regarding room types, rates, promotions, and hotel facilities
  • Process new reservations, modifications, cancellations, and special requests efficiently
  • Ensure all bookings are accurately entered into the hotel system
  • Upsell rooms and promote hotel services to maximize revenue
  • Coordinate with Front Office, Sales, and other departments to ensure smooth guest experiences
  • Maintain proper filing and documentation of reservation records
  • Monitor room availability and assist in managing room inventory
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries
  • Handle guest complaints related to reservations with care and efficiency
  • Maintain confidentiality of guest information and hotel data
  • Follow hotel policies and brand standards at all times

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in Reservations, Front Office, or related hospitality role
  • Strong knowledge of hotel reservation systems (e.g., Opera or similar PMS)
  • Excellent communication skills in oral and written English (additional languages are an advantage)
  • Strong customer service and sales skills
  • Good understanding of revenue management principles
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Positive attitude, professional appearance, and well-groomed
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant computer applications
