Concierge

Nestled at the base of Blackcomb Mountain, just two hours north of Downtown Vancouver, Fairmont Chateau Whistler defines mountain luxury. The knowledge of a great Concierge is the expectation of our Guests when staying at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts. Your ability to anticipate Guests’ needs and make informed suggestions will ensure they have a truly memorable stay.

This is a casual seasonal position running from November to end of March. 

Starting Rate of Pay: $21.30 per hour

We recognize tenure through our compensation - hourly rates increase after 6 months and then yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $26.30

Job Duties Include:

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Assist guests with mail, messages, and any plans or arrangements they require
• Assist with any plans or arrangements the guest intends to make during their stay
• Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
• Follow department policies, procedures and service standards

• Previous customer related experience an asset, ideally in a Concierge role
• Must possess a professional presentation
• Must possess outstanding guest services skills and sophisticated verbal & written communication skills
