Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Bellman to join our inspiring team. As a Bellman, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating memorable experiences through exceptional service and genuine hospitality. You will manage all porterage operations, assist with guest arrivals and departures, and ensure seamless coordination between front-of-house teams. This role is essential to maintaining our commitment to guest satisfaction and operational excellence.

  • Welcome all guests and residents with warmth and professionalism, providing directions and recommendations for hotel facilities. 
  • Supervise and participate in the handling, storage, and safekeeping of all incoming, outgoing, and stored baggage with meticulous attention to detail
  • Coordinate and support guest arrival and departure experiences, working collaboratively with the doorman and reception teams
  • Monitor valet parking operations, taxi queues, and hired car services according to established priorities and procedures
  • Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, escalating security incidents or complaints to the Duty Manager when appropriate
  • Maintain the hotel entrance and driveway operations in accordance with established service standards and code of ethics
  • Promote inter-hotel sales and in-house facilities to enhance the guest experience
  • Ensure all tasks are performed in adherence with workplace safety and health policies and procedures
  • Work closely with colleagues across all departments to deliver personalized and efficient service encounters
  • Maintain the security and confidentiality of guest and hotel information at all times
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

Qualifications

Knowledge and Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the hotel industry.
  • Possesses strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ascertains and addresses guest/colleague needs.
  • Trains and motivates individuals and creates and maintains a cohesive team.
  • Focuses on service with an eye for detail and an approachable attitude.
  • Works well under pressure, analyzes and resolves problems, and exercises good judgment and with a high degree of professionalism.
  • Prioritises and organises work assignments.
  • Self-motivates and shows good initiative in a dynamic environment.
  • Ensures security and confidentiality of guest and hotel information.
  • Embraces and responds to change effectively.
