OVERVIEW OF DUTIES

• Welcomes guests and delivers attentive, personalized service reflecting Brassmith’s premium jazz-bar concept and Accor standards.
• Manages dedicated floor service and assists with hostessing and seating when required.
• Contributes to guest satisfaction, repeat visits and outlet revenue through service and upselling.

Customer Relations

• Welcomes, seats and engages guests with a friendly, professional approach.
• Provides attentive service, responds to requests and follows up on guest feedback.
• Introduces Brassmith’s menu, promotions and live entertainment; recognizes returning guests.

Professional Techniques / Production

• Prepares tables and service stations; takes orders, serves food and drinks, clears and follows up.
• Coordinates with bartenders and kitchen for accurate, timely service, allowing bartenders to focus on beverage production.
• Adapts floor service to reservations, busy nights, private events and live performances.
• Maintains clean, well-presented guest and service areas before, during and after service.

Commercial / Sales

• Recommends suitable beverages, food and promotions to increase average guest spend.
• Builds guest loyalty through product knowledge and consistently personalized service.

Management and Administration

• Follows POS, order-taking, billing and opening/closing procedures.
• Handles glassware and equipment carefully; reports shortages, breakages and defects.
• Supports briefings, stock counts and event setup when required.
• Supports monthly attendance, guest trackers, loyalty trackers, entertainment attendance, required for internal communication meetings.

Hygiene / Personal Safety / Environment

• Follows HACCP, food safety, personal hygiene and hotel security procedures.
• Uses equipment safely and reports hazards or incidents promptly.
• Supports Accor environmental commitments through energy saving, recycling and waste reduction.

• Previous experience as a bartender in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred.
• Guest-focused, confident in upselling and comfortable working during live entertainment
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in preparing and serving drinks.
• Understanding of responsible alcohol service practices and compliance with regulations.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
