Job Description

  • The mechanical air conditioning & refrigeration workshops, AC, and fan coil units rooms and offices and all the service areas of the hotel.
  • Preventative maintenance of all the refrigerating, AC equipment of the hotel
  • Controls of performance of refrigeration and AC items, such as condensing unit compressors, solenoids, relays thermostats, controls...
  • Verification of door closing system on walk-in freezers and refrigerators (door gaskets, latches etc...)
  • Controls and maintains all the defrosting elements and heaters for evaporators and doors
  • Systematic control of freezers, cleaning of condensers, performance of fans, verification of locks and gaskets, and control of units temperatures
  • Verification of the automatic systems of the ice makers and clean water filters for water supply & make up
  • Performance of the repairs requested by another department concerning AC & refrigeration
  • Verifying with the section leader or the Assistant Chief Engineer the performance of the air conditioning system as per manufacturers specifications
  • Handle general routing cleaning & maintenance programme according to schedule
  • Handle cleaning programme to air filters.
