Job Description

Working in close collaboration with operations leadership teams in each brand organization, the Vice President, Accor One Living, Residential Operations, EMEAA and Global Head of the Accor Owner Benefits Program is responsible for leading branded residences openings across EMEAAP, for all residential operations in Asia Pacific and leading the Accor Owner Benefits Program globally. Additionally, this role will work in close collaboration with the VP, Accor One Living, Americas to support the development of the Accor One Living (A1L) residential operating platform – including technology initiatives, pre-opening playbooks & processes, and the development of evolution of brand specific operating standards.

Reporting to The Chief Business Officer, Accor One Living, Global Head of Mixed-use, The Vice President, Accor One Living duties will be to : 

  • Support Opening of new branded residences Projects
  • Ensure pre-opening budgets are in place and sufficient to support strong openings
  • Mobilize governance related to homeowner associations, including first AGM
  • Lead efforts to recruit Residence Directors for standalone projects / support recruitment of Director of Residences for mixed-use projects
  • Participate in Hub pre-opening teams where residential forms part of mixed-use project
  • Ensure project specific SOP’s are defined
  • Ensure activation of rental programs (rollout to Residence owners, POB coverage, accountability understood by Project Exec Team, related SOPs understood and implemented)
  • Provide mixed-use orientation to Project Exec Team, ensure strong awareness at new Projects of key KPIs
  • Ensure shared services model correctly implemented and invoicing of management fees initiated correctly
  • Initiate quarterly performance reviews
  • At Asia Pacific residence Projects (supported by Director, Development and Operations, A1L)
  • Recruit, mentor and performance manage Director of Operations
  • Directly oversee standalone branded residences (supported by Director of Operations), coach, mentor and performance manage Director of Residences
  • Coordinate annual budgeting process, and quarterly forecasts with brand organizations and finance leaders

Qualifications

Typical Backgroud

- Bachelor Degree (or higher) in Business/Hotel/Finance/Real Estate or similar

- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in the hospitality industry

- Strong general management capabilities with past P&L responsibility

- A strong background in branded residential operations and hospitality is essential (including past experience working with homeowner associations, body corporates and managing governance processes) 

Competencies

- General management and leadership skillset

- Strong background in mixed-use, including hospitality, branded residential and vacation exchange business models

- Entrepreneurial drive and energy

- Excellent interpersonal skills

- Excellent communication skills enabling strong and effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders / departments
