Here is where your greatest challenge awaits you:
As a Tech Lead, you are responsible for making technical decisions and providing a technological vision for your assigned area. Your technical expertise and mentoring abilities make you a mentor and coach for the team, allowing for skill development and enhancement, thereby ensuring the team's service quality.
You will work closely with the entire department to promote automation and integrate your activities into the Software Factory.
Your mission :
- Contribute to constructing the product and service roadmap with the manager/PO.
- Gather requirements, arbitrate, and propose technical solutions to stakeholders.
- Estimate workload and budget for new functionalities.
- Ensure the technical architecture of observability solutions in collaboration with the team, following recommendations.
- Guide, deliver, and enforce best practices (automation, code review, etc.) among team members.
- Facilitate skill development among team members through mentoring.
- Identify and remove technical impediments.
- Continuously suggest improvements for technical solutions.
- Keep updated on technological advancements and leverage opportunities for technical stack evolution.
Your Team mission :
- Agile management of team activities (3 observability engineers) located in France and Bangkok.
- Ensure adherence to best practices regarding observability.
- Suggest tools and practices evolution and lead observability strategy implementation.
- Maintain operational platforms Splunk & Dynatrace (on-premise and cloud).
- Provide user support and communicate best practices.
- Assist projects in integrating their data/applications.
- Ensure implementation of PCIDSS compliance rules.
- Interface observability tools with group tools (ITSM, supervision, software factory, etc.).
And you ? :
- Graduated from an engineering school or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of experience, including 5 years as an observability engineer or tech lead.
- Mastery of observability tools.
- Proficient in Linux system (on-premise platform management) for On-Premise environments.
- Agile methodologies.
- Fluent in English.
Hard Skills :
- Splunk & Dynatrace Certifications.
- Splunk, Cribl, Dynatrace, etc.
- Cloud AWS/Azure.
- DevOps (Gitlab-CI, Ansible, Terraform).
- Programming languages: Python.
Soft Skills :
- Cross-functionality, ability to work on complex issues with various teams.
- Ability to work within a team located in France and Bangkok (daily use of English).
- Aptitude to communicate with diverse stakeholders of different cultures and levels in English.
- Pedagogical skills.
