Job Description

  • To source the required material at the right price/source/ as per specifications and at the earliest time.
  • To organize for the quotations & other documents for the initiation of the purchasing process.
  • To make the comparatives with a minimum of three quotations for all the purchases for the hotel.
  • To make the Purchase orders based on the approved quotations and follow up with the vendor for the delivery of the material.
  • To adhere to the standards set by the corporate office.
  • To maintain the Product Specifications for all the items to be purchased and maintain the data for the same in the computer.
  • To conduct market surveys and supplier premises inspection visit as and when required and submit the reports.
  • To provide required good and services to the operations department.
  • To uphold the purchasing ethics when deciding upon the vendor.           

Qualifications

  • Minimum education qualification - Graduate
  • Proficiency in Material Control, MS Office, MS Excel.
  • Experience in Procurement department minimum 3 – 4 years
  • Able to work in a high-pressure environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a team player.
