      Job Description

      As the Chef de Cuisine in our pre-opening resort, you hold a paramount role in defining the culinary narrative of our establishment. Your expertise, creativity, and leadership will guide our culinary team to new heights of excellence, ensuring a dining experience that transcends expectations. Your responsibilities extend beyond the kitchen, encompassing menu innovation, staff development, and the meticulous execution of culinary visions.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Culinary Leadership: Lead and inspire the culinary team to achieve excellence in food preparation, presentation, and overall culinary execution.
      • Menu Development: Collaborate with the Executive Chef to create and innovate menus that reflect the resort's culinary vision and cater to diverse guest preferences.
      • Quality Assurance: Ensure all dishes meet the highest standards of taste, presentation, and adherence to culinary specifications.
      • Kitchen Operations: Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
      • Ingredient Sourcing:  Work with suppliers to source high-quality, fresh ingredients, and ensure proper inventory management.
      • Staff Training and Development: Train, mentor, and develop kitchen staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and skill development.
      • Cost Control: Monitor food costs, implement cost-effective measures, and contribute to achieving budgetary targets.
      • Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to health and safety regulations, implementing proper food handling and sanitation practices.

      Qualifications

      • Culinary Degree: Bachelor’s degree in culinary arts or a related field.
      • Experience: Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine, preferably in a pre-opening or luxury hotel setting.
      • Creativity: Creative flair and passion for culinary excellence.
      • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team-building skills.
      • Trends Awareness: Knowledge of local and international culinary trends.
      • Communication: Excellent organizational and communication skills.
