Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Spa Therapist to join our wellness team in Udaipur, India. In this role, you will be the cornerstone of our guests' spa experience, delivering exceptional therapeutic treatments while maintaining the highest standards of luxury service. You will combine technical expertise with genuine care to create transformative wellness experiences that leave our guests feeling rejuvenated and valued.

  • Deliver a comprehensive range of spa treatments and therapies using advanced techniques tailored to each guest's individual needs and preferences
  • Create a warm, welcoming environment from the moment guests arrive, ensuring their comfort and relaxation throughout their spa journey
  • Maintain meticulous cleanliness and organization of treatment rooms, ensuring all products, supplies, and equipment are properly stocked and sanitized
  • Consult with guests to understand their wellness goals, health concerns, and treatment preferences, providing expert recommendations and detailed feedback
  • Execute suggestive selling and upselling opportunities by demonstrating product knowledge and treatment benefits with enthusiasm and authenticity
  • Establish and nurture long-term relationships with guests through personalized service, follow-up care, and rebooking management
  • Monitor room ambience, lighting, temperature, and aromatherapy to optimize the overall spa experience
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge of all spa treatments, wellness therapies, and facility amenities to answer guest inquiries comprehensively
  • Manage time efficiently while multitasking in a fast-paced environment, maintaining composure under pressure
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless operations and consistent delivery of luxury service standards

Qualifications

**Required Qualifications:**

  • Current certification as a Spa Therapist from a recognized institution
  • Minimum 2-5 years of professional experience in spa therapy within the hospitality or hotel industry
  • Proficiency in English communication, both written and verbal
  • Comprehensive knowledge of spa treatments, therapeutic techniques, and wellness practices
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with a genuine passion for guest satisfaction
  • Physical stamina and manual dexterity to perform treatments effectively throughout the day
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required by spa operations

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Additional certifications in specialized therapies (aromatherapy, hot stone therapy, reflexology, etc.)
  • Experience with spa management software or booking systems
  • Multilingual capabilities to serve diverse guest populations
  • Demonstrated track record of building and maintaining a loyal client base
  • Knowledge of Ayurvedic or traditional wellness practices relevant to the Udaipur region
  • Experience in luxury hospitality environments
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability to changing guest needs
