Job Description

Are you a data-driven professional with a passion for optimizing revenue and driving financial success in the hospitality industry? Fairmont Olympic Hotel is seeking a dynamic Revenue Analyst to play a key role in maximizing revenue and ensuring the financial well-being of our establishment. If you have a strong analytical mindset, an understanding of pricing strategies, and a desire to contribute to a thriving organization, this opportunity is tailor-made for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to room reservations, pricing, and market trends to make informed pricing decisions.
  • Forecasting: Utilize historical data and market insights to develop accurate demand forecasts and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Competitive Analysis: Monitor and analyze competitor pricing and market trends, adapting strategies to remain competitive.
  • Reports and Recommendations: Generate reports, presentations, and recommendations for the management team to support decision-making.
  • Distribution Management: Manage distribution channels and online travel agencies (OTAs) to ensure optimal market reach.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with sales, marketing, and reservations teams to align strategies and meet revenue objectives. Support Reservations Team with Reservations inbox, Reservations Made Yesterday Reports, Main Arrival Traces, and Opera Inventory Balancing.

 

     


    Qualifications

    • Must hold valid authorization to work in the USA.
    • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in revenue management are a plus.
    • Experience: Previous experience in revenue management, data analysis, or a related field is preferred.
    • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights.
    • Pricing Knowledge: Understanding of pricing strategies and their application in the hospitality industry.
    • Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with revenue management software and data analysis tools.
    • Communication: Effective communication and presentation skills to convey insights and recommendations.
