Job Description

  • Lead by example when attending to guest requests. Show efficiency inconstantly striving to provide Total Customer Satisfaction.
  • Take initiative to ensure that interactions with our customers (internal or external) are positive and productive; call the Manager on Duty if extra help is needed.
  • Work together with trust so that colleagues and management meet the goals of the department/ Hotel.
  • To provide warm, welcoming service without compromise to all guests.
  • Is a consummate professional and exemplifies the essence of the Sofitel brand through our values.
  • Oversees the hotel amenity program.
  • Provide information to the General Manager, Executive assistant Manager, Front Office Manager other management and departments daily on all VIP and regular guest arrivals and departures.
  • Liaise regularly with Front Office Manager, Duty Manager and Concierge to co-ordinate the welcome/farewell of VIP guests to/from the hotel.
  • Make personal contact with VIP’s so that they know we acknowledge and appreciate their loyalty.
  • Ensures welcome letters, Le Club letters, departure letters and others are prepared, signed and placed appropriately.
  • Coordinates guest welcome cards, apology cards and special occasion cards for anniversaries, birthdays, honeymoons, etc.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Hospitality Management (or currently studying in Master Degree).
  • Must have relevant experience in the hotel industry
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel
