As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the maintenance and repair activities of our hotel. You will play a key role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance operations, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the maintenance of the buildings, infrastructure, and overall appearance of our hotel
• Look after the building compliances and liaise with the compliance auditors
• Managing contractors and service requests
• Spot the areas for improvement and take measures to improve those areas
• Troubleshoot the issues and act on the complaints on a timely basis
• Prepare the necessary reports and ensure that the budget is being followed
• Plan and schedule preventive maintenance programs for all equipment and systems
• Conduct regular inspections of hotel premises to identify and address maintenance issues promptly
• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and services
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, expenses, and equipment inventory
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests and participate in an on-call rotation as needed

To be successful in this role you will:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or similar role in the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
• Certification in maintenance or a related field is a plus.
